Luis Alejandro Cuellar-Varona

Luis Alejandro Cuéllar-Varona is a Colombian photographer born in 1977.
In 2001 he obtained a diploma in industrial engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali, then until 2007 he studied international relations at the University of Lo Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.
For almost 12 years, he worked in the areas of marketing, sales and human resources in large Colombian companies. Before leaving everything in 2012, in order to change careers and pursue his passion for photography.
He thus joined France, where he studied at SPEOS Paris photographique institute, where he obtained a professional photographer's diploma in 2013. In 2016, he began to study fine arts at the Sorbonne School of Arts, where he obtained a master's degree in Visual Arts.
Working as a professional photographer, he simultaneously develops a personal project focused on the meaning of everyday life, the banality and the natural.

He has published photographic editorials in several magazines in France, England, America, Brazil,
Italy, the United States, the Netherlands and Colombia.
He has also organized exhibitions in galleries and institutions in the city of Paris.
